Lila Design offers illustration work to CityJet.
Tilburg - September 5, 2008. Lila Design has offered CityJet (Air France KLM) two aircraft side view profile illustrations for the decoration of CityJet's corporate website.

The stylish CityJet livery design is a creation by the Air France design team. CityJet is operating a fleet of BAe Avro RJ85s in full 'CityJet' livery aswell in 'Air France by CityJet' livery (for the feeder routes to Aéroport de Roissy-Charles de Gaulle). The Dublin based airline, an ERA:bronze awarded Airline of the Year 2007-2008, is rapidly expanding at London City Airport.

Lila Design introduces James Lee.
Tilburg - August 31, 2008. Although he is already joining Lila Design since 2006, today we officially announce James Lee as one of our top notch talented designers, passionate to aviation. Lila Design is presenting the excellent design skills of James Lee by showing his in 2003 created logo and aircraft exterior paint re-design acquisition concept for China Eastern Airlines. Mr. Lee has been working intensively with us to get his concept promoted to the concerned airline. Marshall Aerospace selected as exclusive livery engineering supplier.
Leiden - June 25, 2008. Today Lila Design has selected British enterprise Marshall Aerospace for the manufacturing of aircraft exterior paint engineering layout drawings (blue prints) and approvals. Livery engineering was still a blind spot on Lila Design's menucard of services. With this important step it is now able to deliver its customers complete and official approved aircraft livery design programmes. Lila Design achieved 'Besloten Vennootschap' (B.V.) status.
Tilburg - June 20, 2008. Lila Design has achieved the B.V. status today. The content of Lila Design's general terms and conditions nor the Chamber of Commerce registration number are subject to the change, only the legal company name is changed from Lila Design V.O.F. to Lila Design Associates B.V.

Geneva - May 22, 2008. At the private and business aircraft exhibition EBACE Lila Design is contracted by two long haul private jet owners for the creative design process of exclusive aircraft exterior paint schemes. The customers are from Germany and India.

Air Inuit welcomed as Lila Design's 2nd Canadian customer.
Fall 2007 Montreal based regional airline Air Inuit (a Makivik Corporation) has contracted Lila Design for the production of three 3d-digital aircraft illustrations. Air Inuit, the 'official airline' of the Inuit community of Nunavik in Northern Quebec, found our company through the internet. The illustration order has already been completed and delivered to the airline.

Nolinor Aviation Adds Boeings to its fleet. Lila Design supports.
Canada based regional airline Nolinor Aviation has acquired two 737-200 Combi from Royal Air Maroc. The operator is planning doing passenger and/or cargo flight at the end of November 2007. Both aircraft are presently under maintenance and inspection and waiting for a fresh paint job.

Nolinor Aviation recently move it’s operations to Mirabel (CYMX) into a 50000 square feet hangar. « At the beginning of the year we decided to give the green to this project » stated the President of the company M. Jacques Prud’Homme. « The aircraft will be use mainly for Northern destination ».

This type of aircraft is perfect for moving work team across the country. « Our customers will now be able to have the same quality service available on our Convair 580 on a faster and bigger aircraft. » told the Ops Manager, Marco Prud’Homme. « We have one of the best team on the market for 50 passenger flight, we intend now to do the same for a 100 seater. »

Both aircraft have a cargo door and many combi configuration at their disposal which should help increase market share. Northern region of Canada is now seeing more action over the last few year and Nolinor Aviation intend to have a bigger role in the year to come.

With the support of The Netherlands based airline branding firm Lila Design, Nolinor Aviation's paint design layout has undergo a translation for the future Boeings. The design will be slightly modified. The engine nacelles are going to be painted in blue decorated with the golden Nolinor Aviation brand symbol. Lila Design is taking care for Nolinor's brand and fleet paint design since 2003 when the airline moved away from their former green corporate colour.
